phase cycles and other hormonal imbalances to bring the woman in alignment with her deepest truth; she truly doesn’t want a child.
Other psychological characteristics that have contributed to infertility are the unconscious belief systems about pregnancy, sexuality, relationships and having children. A woman, as a child, could have heard her mother say how much trouble she and her siblings were. She internalized "children are trouble" and unconsciously refuses to experience or re-live those wounding. Other women, as daughters, might have picked up from their creative and talented mothers the resentment they felt when they had to forego a career, stay at home and raise the children. These daughters blame themselves for their mother’s pain of an unlived life and they are unconsciously conflicted about having children.
